I know that running, training and participating in road races is a potentially hazardous activity and I should not run unless I am medically able. I accept any and all risks
related in any way to running and any related activities (the "Activities"). I have no medical condition that may restrict or prohibit my participation in any such activities,
including but not limited to: workouts, volunteering, falls, contact with other participants, the effect of weather, including low or high temperatures and/or humidity, the
conditions of the track or course, all such risks being assumed and appreciated by me. I agree to be responsible for my own safety while participating in any activities
sponsored by the North Jersey Masters Track & Field Club ("NJM").
Having read this release, as a member of NJM for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, I hereby expressly release and discharge NJM, the NJM Board,
the NJM officers, the NJM Members and Coaches, the Village of Ridgewood and its agencies and departments, USA Track & Field, Road Runners Club of America and their
representatives and successors or assignees, from any and all present and future claims and liabilities of any kind, known or unknown, arising out of my participation in the
Activities or any other club-related or NJM sponsored activities, except if such claim or liability arises out of the gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of any of
the foregoing persons or entities. In the case of medical emergency, I grant permission to the foregoing persons and agents to seek medical attention for myself (if I am
over 18) or for my child, if I, the legal guardian, am absent.
I also grant permission to NJM to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of my participation in workouts, road races or related activities for
any legitimate, promotional, non-commercial purpose without remuneration. I acknowledge that I am 18 years of age or older and I have read and understand the
contents of this release.

NJM membership is based on a calendar year. For example, a one-year Membership that begins in January to September will last until the end of the current year.
Memberships that begin in October to December will last through the end of the following year.
Individual membership is for a person who is over 18 and is the only person in the household planning to participate in club activities.
The Individual must fill out this application and agree to the waiver.
Family membership includes a primary contact (must be over 21) and one or more "family" members for which we need their Name,
Gender, and Date of Birth. A family member must live at the same address of the primary contact and can be a child, spouse,
friend, etc. The primary contact (head of household) is responsible for relaying club information to family members, filling
out this form, and agree to the waiver.
Individual and Family memberships are offered for one or two calendar years.
Individual memberships are $35 for one year or $55 for two years. Family memberships are $55 for one year or $100 for two years.
We offer a 5 year plan for individuals only.
Upon receipt of your completed application and check, we will transfer all your data to the NJM website's Member Profile page. This will cause the appropriate contact information to appear on the Club "Directory". The fact that you are listed in the "Directory" indicates that you are an Active Member. Since access to the "Directory" requires that you enter the non-public "Members Area", we will e-mail you your sign-on (Name and Password) to the "Members Area".
If you are a competitive runner and plan to compete against other State runners in Individual and Team competitions you must also join the USATF-NJ at the USATF membership page. The USATF-NJ is responsible for the governance of Track & Field, Long Distance Running (LDR), Cross Country, and Race Walking in the state of New Jersey. It is best known for providing its member athletes with discounts for NJ races, group accident insurance coverage, and shopping discounts at many sport retail stores. More importantly, it uses the approximately 150 sanctioned LDR races throughout the state to organize, score, and track its three Individual Grand Prix championships: Mini-1, Mini-2, and the Overall. Five-year age-group winners in the three championships are recognized as New Jersey Champions and feted at a year-end banquet.
