Tuesday Track Workout with Coach Joel Pasternack

Workout for 4/20/21
Warmup 1-1.5 miles. Dynamic stretches and 8 x 50m strides.
Everyone at good 5k pace will run 100m and jog 100m for 9:00. Coach Joel will blow whistle for a 3:00 recovery. Then, 100m at 5k pace and 100m jog for 7:00 with 2:00 recovery, then 100m at 5k pace and 100m jog for 5:00 with 1:00 recovery. Finish with 100m at 5k pace and 100m jog for 3:00.
For newcomers try to do 2 – 3 of the sets or every other.
Warm down 1/2 mile to a mile.
