Tuesday Track Workout

Meet in the second parking lot of the Glen Rock Duck Pond at 6:00pm. Coaches will alternate each week between Coach Joel and Coach PK.
Workout for 10/19/21
Warm up 15 mins plus stretches and drills followed by 4 x 100m strides.
Change of speed workout. Run 1 lap of the park (slightly less than 800m) at 10k pace, followed immediately by 1 lap of the park at marathon pace. Continue for 3 miles without stopping.
Note: this is a tough very workout. Try not to take breaks. Goal is to continue changing paces roughly every half mile.
Cool down 8-10 mins.
Anyone racing the 12k East Brunswick race should talk to coaches first before attempting this workout. I will provide an alternative workout.
